Tarawih Prayer

Tarawih prayer is a sunnah prayer performed every night during the month of Ramadhan. The total rakaah are 20, which are done in pairs.

The time for this prayer is after isya’. It is not valid if done before isya’ prayers. It may be performed alone or in a congregation.

Eidain Prayer

Eidain prayer is the prayer done on the morning of the two Eid. They are solatul-eidulfitri and solatul-eiduladha.

The prayer consists of 2 rakaah. During the first rakaah, the takbir is said seven times after takbiratul-ihram and 5 times during the second rakaah after takbiratul-qiam.

The meanings: I hereby perform 2 rakaah of sunnah eidulfitr/eiduladha in the name of Allah Ta’ala.

The times for these prayers are after sunrise and before Zuhur. It is also a sunnah to perform two khutbah after the prayers.
