Generosity
Being generous means giving help in whatever form to somebody who needs it. The opposite of generous is to be stingy. Generosity is very noble and so Islam encourages Muslims to be charitable.
Being stingy on the other hand is a shameful characteristic that is loathed by Islam. Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam was the most generous person. He always helped the less fortunate. He also encouraged his people to pay zakat and donate to the poor and needy. He forbids Muslims from being stingy.
Islam asks Muslims to work hard for wealth so they will be able to donate, pay zakat and help the poor.
Muslims who are generous are loved by Allah and by everyone.
