Respecting Our Parents

Parents are the people closest to us. They have sacrificed and looked after us. It is because of them that we are here.

Our mother is the one who carried us for nine months and gave birth to us. Our father has worked hard to provide us with everything.

We must respect our parents and obey them. We must always help and be kind to them.

When we are home, we must always be on our best behaviour and not be noisy or fight.

When we are away from home, we must always remember their advice. When we want to leave the house we should always kiss their hands and tell them where we’re going.

We cannot tell them off or raise our voice. We should always be grateful and show our appreciation by saying thank you when they give us something.

We must du’a and ask Allah to forgive their sins and bless them.

Those who respect their parents will be respected by their children later.
