Prophet Muhammad Arrives in Madinah

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) hid in the Thur Cave for 3 days. On the fourth day, Prophet Muhammad and Saidina Abubakar began their journey to Madinah.

During the journey a man named Suraqah chased them. Everytime he got close to the Prophet, his horse would stumble and fall in the desert. He eventually went home disappointed and Prophet Muhammad continued the journey to Madinah.

Before arriving in Madinah, the Prophet stopped by a village named Quba’. Prophet Muhammad built a mosque there. It was called the Quba’ Mosque. It was the first mosque built in Islamic history.

A few days later, Prophet Muhammad arrived in Madinah. The people of Madinah were anxiously waiting for the Prophet’s arrival. They greeted him with joy and a nasyid:
