The Consequences of Lying
One day, Kamal and his friends went to the beach to swim. One of his friends was swimming further than the others. Suddenly, he began waving his arms frantically asking for help. It seemed like he was drowning.
Quickly, another boy swam as fast as he could towards the drowning boy. As he swam nearer he realized his friend was laughing. He was lying and playing a trick on them.
Not long after that, the boy pretended to be drowning again. He shouted for help and was having difficulty breathing. This time none of his friends came to his help. They all thought he was playing a trick on them again.
This time it was not a trick. The boy was really drowning, but nobody helped him because they all thought he was joking. Sadly, the boy really did drown.
This is the consequence of those who likes to lie. This is why Islam forbids us from lying.
