ATeasing means making fun of a person’s flaw. For instance calling somebody fat, blind, deaf or bald.

QWhy are we not allowed to tease others?

AWe are not allowed to tease as it might hurt the other person’s feeling.

QWhat is the consequence of teasing somebody?

AInsulting, being rude, or verbally abusing anyone is a shameful act. It is haram to tease anybody.

QWhat must we do if we tease somebody?

AWe must apologize to the person. We must be remorseful and ask forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala.
