QWhat does stealing mean?

AStealing means taking something that belongs to somebody else without permission.

QWhy must we not steal?

AWe must not steal because it is a terrible and shameful act.

QWhat is the consequence for eating something that was stolen?

AIt is forbidden to eat something that was stolen. According to the Al-Quran, the thief’s hands must be cut.

QWhat should we do if we have stolen something?

AYou must return the items and apologize to the owner. We must repent and ask for forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala.

QWhat is the consequence of somebody who is remorseful?

AAllah will forgive them, as Allah loves those who repent.
