The Uncle of Prophet Muhammad, Abu Talib

When Prophet Muhammad was 8 years old, his grandfather passed away.

He was then looked after by his uncle, Abu Talib.

One day Abu Talib invited the Prophet to go on a journey with him.

They travelled towards the land of Syria.

Once there they met a priest called Bahira.

The priest knew who Prophet Muhammad really was.

He told Abu Talib to bring his nephew home.

He was afraid Prophet Muhammad would be killed by his enemies.

So Abu Talib brought Prophet Muhammad home to Makkah.
