Respecting Our Neighbours

A neighbour is someone who lives close by to us. Prophet Muhammad teaches us respect our neighbours. Angel Jibril had sent a revelation telling Prophet Muhammad to be kind to his neighbours.

When we meet our neighbours, we should greet them. If they need help, we must try our best to help them. If they are sickly, we must visit them.

If they invite us over, we must go unless we’re sick. We must never disturb them by turning on the radio or television loudly.

We must never throw rubbish near their home. We must always respect their privacy and not peek into their home for no reason.
