As-Sirath and Al-Haudh

We must believe that on the Day of Judgement we will have to go through As-Sirath and Al-Haudh.

As-Sirath is the narrow bridge to Paradise above the hell-fire and every human and jinn will have to walk on it. The journey on the bridge would take approximately 500 years.

Some will be able to walk very fast, and others will take awhile and walk carefully. Those who will go to hell will slip and fall, while the ones who safely walk through will go to heaven.

Those who are able to walk through As-Sirath will then be able to drink from Al-Haudh.

Al-Haudh is known as the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Waalihi Wasallam’s Pool.

The pool is a square that spans so wide; it would take a month’s walk from one end to the other. The water is from the river Al-Kausar from Paradise. The jugs of water are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Those who have drunk the water will never feel thirsty again.
