The field of Mahsyar

We must believe that all the dead will rise on the Day of Resurrection and will be gathered at the field of Mahsyar.

At this gathering, all beings will go through so many adversities. For instance the heat will be so unbearable till some humans will drown in their own sweat.

The duration of the congregation will take half of the Day of Resurrection, which is equivalent to 500 years on earth.

On that day, all of mankind will receive their book of deeds.

The righteous will receive their books from the right and they will be rewarded with a place in heaven. Those who receive their books from the left are those who have sinned and committed many bad deeds and will be punished in hell.

It is on this day that the Prophet Muhammad will give the intercession for his followers with the permission of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala.
