Believe in Rasul

We believe Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala chose several men to become Prophets (Nabi) and Messengers (Rasul).

Prophets are those given the message of Allah from Malaikat Jibril.

Whereas a messenger is a prophet who has been told to spread the message of Allah to all of mankind. Allah had chosen noble and righteous men to become His Messengers and Prophets.

There are four noble qualities of the Messengers of Allah:

• Shidiq which means truth
• Amanah which means honest and one who does not commit sins
• Tabligh which means spreading all of Allah’s messages
• Fatanah which means wise

There are many Prophets and Messengers of Allah. The Quran names twenty-five:

Adam; Idris; Nuh; Hud; Saleh; Ibrahim; Lut; Ismail; Ishak; Yaakub; Yunus; Ayub; Syuib; Musa; Harun; Zulkafli; Daud; Sulaiman; Ilias; Alias; Yusuf; Zakaria; Yahya; Isa; and Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Waalihi Wasallam.
