Do not just imitate

Imitate means copying or following an act without knowing why.

A person who just imitates might be in danger.

Before imitating somebody, we must think about the pros and cons and what might happen next.

Islam prohibits us from copying a bad deed.

Islam also prohibits us from just copying something that is against Islam’s teaching.

We may imitate the good and what is allowed in Islam. We must never imitate something that is wrong.
