Give and take

Salim is a good boy. One day while he was running in the school field, he accidentally collided with his friend named Umar. Umar fell and hurt himself. Salim felt bad and quickly apologised to Umar.

Umar kindly accepted Salim’s apology, but another boy said, “Don’t forgive him! Let’s push him and make him fall!”.

But Umar replied, “Don’t! We must not do that. Salim did not do it on purpose. I know he’s a nice boy. Salim has apologised, so we must forgive him.”

Umar is a kind boy who is always considerate. He is not like his friend who likes to seek revenge.

Islam asks us to be understanding and forgive those who apologise.
