Being Generous

One day during recess, when Ahmad was eating in the school canteen, he noticed a friend just sitting and not eating. Ahmad was curious and felt sorry towards the friend.

After eating, Ahmad approached his friend and asked, “Why are you not eating?”

His friend answered, “I lost my money”.

Ahmad sympathised with his friend and gave some of his own money to him. At first, the friend did not want to accept it, but Ahmad insisted he take it. Finally, his friend accepted it and was very grateful to Ahmad.

This is an example of generosity. A generous person likes to help people in need. Allah loves those who are generous and dislikes people who are stingy.
