The Acts That Nullify The Prayer
QWhat nullifies the prayer?
AThere are eleven things that nullifies a prayer:
- A minor hadath state that nullifies wuduk.
- Major hadath for instance menstruation for women.
- Impurities or najis that comes in contact with the body, clothes or praying area.
- Talking on purpose
- Eating or drinking even if it is a little
- Move three consecutive times
- Laugh aloud
- Revealing aurat; even if it’s unintentional
- Turning the chest away from facing the qiblat
- Hesitating in stopping the prayer
- Playing
QWhat happens if we do any of the things mentioned above?
AThe prayer is not valid and must be done again.
