The Sunnah of Wuduk
QWhat does sunnah mean?
AIt means something that is good that is encouraged to do.
QHow many sunnah wuduk are there?
AThere are many sunnah wudu’, some are:
- Washing both hands till the wrist while reciting:
أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
ِبسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ .
- Cleansing the teeth with siwak
- Washing the mouth
- Sniffing water and blowing it out
- Wiping the entire head with water
- Wiping both ears
- Washing or wiping parts of the body 3 times.
- Doing wuduk in the given order.
- Reciting the du’a after wuduk.
