Prophet Muhammad Takes Over Makkah

Once the Prophet had moved to Madinah, the Makkans would not allow Prophet Muhammad to re-enter Makkah.

However, during the 8th year of Hijrah, Prophet Muhammad managed to enter Makkah and met many Muslims and eventually conquered Makkah.

By then the non-Muslims in Makkah could no longer stop the Prophet as they were too weak.

Makkah became the holy land of Islam.
